Compare the route preview, not an old fee table
A stablecoin transfer can include more than one cost: a percentage service charge, a fixed token charge, a separate blockchain or processing cost and a deduction at the receiving side. This worksheet keeps those entries separate. It does not scrape exchanges, guess a network fee or assume that one token always equals one US dollar.
Withdrawal terms can change. Kraken’s withdrawal reference, for example, says that each withdrawal has a minimum and fee, that displayed fees can change and that the confirmation screen shows the final fee. Coinbase Exchange explains that its user charge is based on an estimated network fee and may differ from the final network cost it pays because of batching or congestion. These are provider-specific examples, not universal pricing rules.
Deducted and added fees produce different debits
Suppose you enter a 1,000 USDT transfer, a 0.1% service fee and a 2 USDT fixed fee. The combined service charge is 3 USDT.

The fee is 3 USDT in either row, but the cash-flow question differs. If the screen says “you send” and “recipient gets,” use those labels to determine the method. Do not subtract the same charge again simply because a separate help page calls it a network fee.
Why the token-price input matters
Costs paid in the token and costs entered in a comparison currency need one common unit. The calculator converts token debits and receipts using the price you enter. A value of 1 is only an illustrative default. It is not a statement that USDT, USDC or another stablecoin is currently redeemable or tradable at exactly 1 USD on your route.
Total modelled cost is the sender’s token debit multiplied by the entered token price, plus any separate network cost entered in the comparison currency, minus the recipient’s token amount multiplied by the same price. This makes the two sides reconcile without quietly mixing token units with dollar units.
What “lowest cost” does and does not mean
A route below its entered withdrawal minimum is excluded from the lowest-cost label. Eligible routes are compared only by the modelled cost. The label does not certify the correct network, token contract, deposit support, arrival time or provider reliability. A cheap unsupported route can still be the wrong route.
